We can test how efficient is a progesterone cream by doing saliva tests.

Over the last 14 years, many women using Natpro Progesterone Cream have done regular saliva testing. And every time they’ve come back with excellent results. Not only does the progesterone level increase substantially, but the clients feel well which the main objective is!

Please take a look at Judy’s saliva tests’ results, a ‘before’ and ‘after’ which gives an excellent comparison. You’ll see the progesterone has increased substantially in only a month.

The progesterone level is 4000pg/ml and her estrogen 5pg/ml. making her progesterone to estrogen ratio 800:1, which is good. I’ve found it should be 600:1 and over to feel well.

Are you aware that Growth Hormones in Milk can cause Estrogen to rise, without you realizing it? There are so many factors that cause estrogen to rise.

“…I’ve just finished answering somebody. Even milk which contains the bovine growth hormone causes IGF-1 to increase. This is insulin-like growth factor and that increases aromatase in the body. Aromatase converts more testosterone into estrogen …. so you get estrogen rising. We just don’t know what we’re doing with ourselves. At any one time, we could be eating a huge amount of phytoestrogens without realizing it and they’re in grains and legumes mainly. So, estrogen rises again. There are so many variables.  It’s impossible to say but if it does happen, increase the cream again. Increase the progesterone.

A simple web search for the term ‘progesterone’ will result in hundreds of pages; some of it good and some of it bad. With all those results, it is quite difficult to divide facts from fiction.

What are the most popular misconceptions about progesterone?

Some women claim progesterone, instead of making them feel better, does quite the opposite. Others say that it causes them to put on weight, prevents them from ovulating, or makes their hair fall out, the list goes on and on.

Should progesterone be blamed for all those symptoms?

In this article, I will do my best to clarify some common misconceptions, and show you why progesterone is not to blame for these health concerns.

Progesterone Dosage is Vital !

First, it is vital to differentiate between the two hormones: Estrogen and Progesterone.

In a woman’s body, estrogen serves a variety of purposes; it stimulates subcutaneous fat cells to proliferate, which causes a woman’s body to gain its shape at puberty. Unfortunately too much Estrogen will cause weight gain that will be hard to lose unless the level of estrogen is reduced.

When someone doesn’t use enough progesterone supplementation, it will stimulate the estrogen receptors that trigger water retention and weight gain. This stimulation leads to a state of ‘estrogen dominance’.

Often when these symptoms occur, progesterone is blamed!

Then many reduce the dosage or stop using it!! Ironically it seems to give some relieve as the estrogen receptors are no longer stimulated….but it defeats the purpose of reversing estrogen dominance!!

Progesterone should not be blamed for estrogen dominance symptoms.

In fact, increasing progesterone dosage will dispel the estrogen dominance symptoms and help the individual regain a sense of normalcy.

It is important to balance estrogen and progesterone in the proper ratio for a healthy body.

Don’t stop using Progesterone Increase it!

Low Progesterone leads to Estrogen Dominance

Estrogen is necessary for the growth of an egg and the proliferation of endometrial cells during each menstrual cycle. But an excess of estrogen will mess up the cycle, prevent ovulation and increase the risk of massive bleeding and even endometrial cancer.

Using progesterone during the period of ovulation will stimulate the early release of progesterone so necessary for successful implantation of a fertilized ovum at pregnancy.

Many women have malfunctioning luteal phase, resulting in little or no progesterone being secreted during ovulation. These women are more likely to suffer estrogen dominance symptoms. Around age 35 (perimenopause) the progesterone levels drop due to anovulation. Low progesterone levels usually increase in frequency until menopause when the ovaries stop producing a viable ovum.

It is important to realize that even during perimenopause, the production of estrogen and testosterone do not decrease, resulting in estrogen dominant problems
It is recommended to use 100-200 mg progesterone daily. If symptoms persist more should be required. The amount depends entirely on symptoms. When symptoms are severe more will be needed.

If symptoms seem to get worse, do not reduce the progesterone dosage as many do, blaming the progesterone. These symptoms are signs that estrogen are stimulated, and that MORE progesterone is necessary.

Increasing the progesterone dosage is the only way to overcome estrogen dominant symptoms!

I receive this beautiful letter this morning from Cathryn. It’s a tribute to women everywhere, who have made the decision to take control of their hormonal health and wont give up in the face of opposition and ignorance. Many women still suffer unnecessarily because of ‘What Doctors may not tell them about menopause, pre-menaupose..”. Thank God for pionneers such as Dr John Lee, Dr C Dalton, Dame Dr Shirley Bond…and our sisters who speak boldly…

“…Like so many women, I have been suffering with a lifetime of terrible symptoms, all of which could have been alleviated with Progesterone!  I am 45 and I live in Australia.

In my country, the medical profession does not see the need to address womens issues with Progesterone. In fact, they seem to not know the difference between Progesterone and progestins etc and even try to help by giving us Oestrogen!  More Oestrogen…..

Recently I went to a GP and asked for Progesterone tests. He said I did not need it as we do not need Progesterone!  I could not believe my ears!  My first thought was that it was because he was a male, but then I realised that it was because he was a GP! And they are not encouraged to help women with Progesterone treatments.  On the odd occasion that they do wish to help, they administer artificial medication!

For years I have been searching for answers. I am like a bull dog. I will not give up until I find answers.

I remember watching Dr Phil and his wife Robin, who went through terrible menopause, said she visited many doctors until she found one who would listen. And she warned us that it would be like that. How right she is,.
I would like to know why women must work so hard to find answers.  Why do we have to beg for help.
In Australia, we cannot buy Progesterone over the counter. We must see either a GP (we know how hopeless that is) or a GP practicing Bio-natural prescribing doctor.  The only way to find who they are is to contact the bio-natural compounding pharmacy and they have a list of doctors who prescribe. Then we wait for months to be able to see these doctors and pay alot of money for them to prescribe compounding medication. The medication is very expensive.  I was quoted $160 per month for compounded progesterone.

Through spending many hours on the internet, I discovered progesterone in jars and tubes from overseas.

I now order it and have not been game enough to order more than one tube at a time  customs seize it, as I believe we are allowed one months supply for our own use.

In saying all of this, I am relieved to be able to purchase progesterone.  I read Dr Lees book many years ago and have since accumulated a number of copies some how! It amazes me how little we have progressed in the area of women’s health.  I am constantly reminded of how upside down the medical profession is particularly for womens health.  The Doctors easily prescribe the morning after pill, the pill, abortions and the like but to address women’s debilitating symptoms is almost taboo.  There was a push to recognise the right for a woman to abort her baby but the right of a woman to help her symptoms? It is beyond my understanding.

I really appreciate your videos. I came across them today and it was like a breath of fresh air. They have confirmed what I have been learning about – the benefits of progesterone and you know what you are talking about. I wish I could take it all in and I wish I could remember the valuable bits of information so I can help other women like myself.

I want others to be able to life healthy lives, with the benefit of progesterone. I want my daughter to know about progesterone benefits as she suffers severely with pms and period pain.

Thank you so much for your wonderful work.

I welcome the day when doctors see the wonder of progesterone.”

Someone asked me lately will too much Progesterone cause Acne?

NO! Acne is caused by excess of Testosterone.
Because Progesterone inhibits testosterone, it cannot cause acne!

It is high Testosterone that initiates acne.  Without getting too technical, the Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) plays a vital role making testosterone inactive…SO The Great news is that Progesterone raises levels of SHBG, which prevents the rise of free testosterone.
However sugars will cause SHBG to drop. By sugars we mean all carbs, even grains, legumes, dairy, sweet starchy fruits and vegetables, fructose, sucrose and glucose (all carbs are converted into glucose). Carbs will reduce SHBG by 80, 50 and 40% respectivey.

Interestingly enough acne rarely affects people outside the Western nations. According to Cordain et al there is an absence of acne in the Kitavan Islanders of Papua New Guinea and Ache hunter-gatherers of Paraguay. They believe this is due to their diets, which, being natural and unprocessed, have a much lower glycaemic index than Western diets. They are also more physically active than Westerners. They do not have insulin resistance, obesity, hypertension, diabetes, or heart disease.

5 Advices that will help you get rid of your acne:

  • Avoid all the foods and sugars mentioned and go for a low-glycaemic-load diet
  • Use Natural Progesterone cream to inhibit the production of androgens within the body. Progesterone will also reverse follicular keratosis and cause a significant reduction in sebum excretion in women.
  • In addition take daily 100mg zinc. This high dose should be taken for approximately three months, when the dose should be reduced to 15mg/day. Acne has often cleared after using a high dose zinc supplement, especially needed by men, as the sperm contains more zinc than any other part of the body.
  • Vitamin B6 will potentiate the inhibitory effect of zinc
  • Supplement with vitamin D. It is a cheaper option than phototherapy. Vitamin D is essential for health, including skin health. Have a blood test done to check the level. The test should only be done for 25-hydroxyvitamin D, also called calcidiol.

Hormone Imbalance

Several young women today, some in their thirties and some even younger, have started to experience the early onset of hormone imbalance symptoms and their associated disorders.

The most common Hormonal Imbalance Symptoms are weight gain, fatigue, loss of libido, depression, headaches, joint pain and mood swings. Other frequent problems include uterine fibroids, cancer, fibrocystic breast disease, menstrual problems, autoimmune disorders, pre-menopausal bone loss and a high incidence of osteoporosis after menopause.

More and more doctors are becoming aware that the common link between all these symptoms is the imbalance between the primary female hormones, progesterone and estrogen.

These are the two hormones that must co-exist in perfect balance and harmony.  Any variations and changes in this perfect balance will start to have a dramatic effect on the woman’s health, thereby causing the onset of the above mentioned symptoms.

How do women become estrogen dominant?

Ten to fifteen years before menopause, young women frequently had anovulatory cycles. They made sufficient estrogen to have a menstruation but they did not ovulate (hence the anovulatory cycle). The lack of progesterone is the ideal setting for estrogen dominance.

Other causes of hormone imbalance symptoms in women:

  • Too much stress.
  • Environmental reasons, including pollution, poisons.
  • Taking the Pill. Introduced in the 1960s the Pill was made out of synthetic estrogen, and although it was declared safe by the FDA, the fact that several women were dying was not taken into account.  In addition to several other symptoms, the Pill caused lower progesterone levels, causing hormone imbalance in these unfortunate women.
  • Using hormone replacement therapy or HRT as it is commonly known. The HRT is a combination of synthetic progestins and progestogens, as well as estrogen, and usage of these pills causes a hormonal imbalance in women.
  • Poor diet.
  • Above average consumption of non-organic and also animal products that have excessive amounts with estrogen.
  • Cosmetics.

How do I treat hormone imbalance symptoms?

Using progesterone cream throughout anovulatory months can stop the symptoms of PMS. Young women with PMS have a tendency to apprehend Pre Menstrual Symptoms despite the use of traditional progesterone.  When stress is present it increases cortisol production in the body; cortisol will block (or competes for) progesterone receptors.  Extra natural progesterone cream is then required to beat this blockage, and stress management is vital.

How to choose an efficient Topical Natural Progesterone Cream

The best way to administer progesterone is topically (transdermally). Transdermal cream preparation of progesterone is capable of carrying the hormone through the skin into the blood stream. The cream needs to have an adequate amount of progesterone in it, which is at least 30 milligrams per gram. Many over the counter creams have little progesterone, for example 5 milligrams per ounce or none at all.

Note that the creams that are made from Wild Mexican Yams are not metabolized to progesterone by women and it will have absolutely no effect on the level of progesterone in the body.
